You see Boston in the postseason - tough outside shooters + Pierce / Perkins + Baby sans any help in the middle ... What does Orlando to? They put up more in-your-face 3's Better Than for the part of the season ... They even stopped running plays to get the shooters open ... WHY ?!?!?!? Why not help

He will definitely ease his def duties - he is a solid post defender and a very good helpside blocker, and give him some twin-tower help on offense. What happens when Baby or Perkins get into foul trouble? Howard can wreck havock inside and thus - create more space for OPEN 3's.
The Polish Hammer proved he can rebound and score from time to time when Howard was out against Phila - in this series he is averaging just about 7 minutes (pretty effective if you ask me...) and cannot really help his team dry in limited time ...
